Below are frequently asked questions and care tips for the PetSafe Stay+Play Wireless Fence Rechargeable Receiver Collar, Model Number PIF00-14288.

What is the PetSafe Stay+Play Wireless Fence Rechargeable Receiver Collar?

The PetSafe® Stay+Play Wireless Fence® Rechargeable Receiver Collar (Model No. PIF00-14288) is a receiver collar that you can use with compatible PetSafe wireless pet containment systems to help condition your pet to stay within established boundaries.

The PetSafe Stay+Play Wireless Fence Rechargeable Receiver Collar is compatible with the following PetSafe systems:

  • Stay+Play Wireless Fence® (Model PIF00-12917)
  • Wireless Pet Containment System (Models PIF-300, IF-100, and XWF15-11801)
  • Free to Roam Wireless Fence™ (Model PIF00-15001)

How does the PetSafe Stay+Play Wireless Fence Rechargeable Receiver Collar work?

The PetSafe Stay+Play Wireless Fence Rechargeable Receiver Collar works by the receiver collar emitting a tone as your pet approaches a boundary limit that you set with your PetSafe Fence/Containment System. If your pet continues to approach the boundary limit after the tone has been emitted, the receiver collar will issue a static correction.

PetSafe Fence/Containment Systems are not designed to be solid barriers; when used in conjunction with the Stay+Play Wireless Fence Rechargeable Receiver Collar, they simply act as deterrents to help you teach your pet to stay within established boundaries.

There is no guarantee that these systems will keep your pet from entering restricted areas, and you must responsibly reinforce training with your pet on a regular basis. Be sure to thoroughly research the products’ functions and review the manuals before purchasing and implementing them into your training regimen.
