How long do I need to charge the red 6 Volt Power Wheels battery for?
It is important to note that prior to first use, you must charge your new Power Wheels battery for at least 18 hours. Otherwise, an undercharged battery can result in a short run time or the vehicle doesn’t operate at all.
After the battery’s first use, recharge the battery for at least 14 hours but never leave the battery charging for longer than 30 hours.
How long does the red 6 Volt Power Wheels battery last?
The average battery life is from 1 to 3 years depending on the frequency of use and maintenance of the battery.
